GABALA
Gabala, nestled in the scenic mountains of northern Azerbaijan, is a hub for nature and history enthusiasts. Once the capital of ancient Caucasian Albania, it boasts historic ruins in Chukhur Gabala village, including towering gates. Adventure seekers flock to the Tufandag Winter-Summer Mountain Resort, which offers skiing in winter and outdoor activities year-round. Nearby attractions include the ancient Albanian church in Boyuk Amili and the village of Nij, home to the native Udi people, preserving their unique heritage.
Upon arrival in Baku, you will be warmly greeted at the airport by our representative, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you’ll have some free time to relax and explore the city's vibrant atmosphere. First, visit Highland Park to enjoy stunning panoramic views of Baku, including the Flame Towers and Milli Majlis, followed by a funicular ride. Continue to Baku Boulevard, where you'll see the Ferris wheel, Little Venice (with a boat ride), and the Carpet Museum, while strolling along the Caspian Sea. Explore the Old City (Icherisheher), home to ancient landmarks like the Maiden Tower and Shirvanshah’s Palace. Walk down Nizami Street, known for its historical buildings and shopping options, and visit the Heydar Aliyev Centre, designed by Zaha Hadid. Don’t forget to snap a photo at the iconic "I Love Baku" sign. After a full day of exploration, you'll return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll check out and begin your journey to Gabala, with a pick-up at 08:30 for the 4-hour drive. On the way, you'll pass the historic Shamakhi Juma Mosque, dating back to the 9th century. If you wish, you can stop at Meysari Winery to learn about local wine traditions and sample three types of wine with snacks (extra cost). Alternatively, you can visit a farm where friendly alpacas live, a unique sight in the Shamakhi area (extra cost for entrance). Upon arrival in Gabala, you’ll check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time before an overnight stay in this picturesque city.

Then, visit Tufandag Mountain Resort, a beautiful natural spot ideal for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, where you can enjoy a 2-line cable car ride. After the excursion, return to the hotel and enjoy free time before an overnight stay in Gabala.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gabala by 12:00 and begin the 4-hour drive back to Baku. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to your hotel and have some free time to relax or explore the city at your leisure. Enjoy your overnight stay in Baku.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up at 09:00 for a 3-hour drive to Shahdag Mountain Resort. At the resort, you can enjoy various activities such as the cable car, zip line, roller coaster, and buggy cars (with extra costs, except for one included cable car ticket). Spend the day at Shahdag until 17:00, then begin the return journey to Baku, which takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival in Baku, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

The tour includes a visit to the Fire Temple (Ateshgah) in Surakhani, a historical site once worshipped by Zoroastrians and Hindus, with a well-designed museum (combo ticket included). Next, visit Yanardag, the Burning Mountain in Mammadli village, where natural flames blaze day and night, a sight described by Marco Polo. Afterward, enjoy some shopping time at Yashil Bazaar or local malls like Ganjlik Mall or Daniz Mall before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
